The objective was clear when designing the Recon 1.0, applying the S-Works Recon design in a very accessible package. Even if it is easier to say than do, we have created a shoe with the comfort of Body Geometry to have a durable, comfortable shoe. So yes, mission accomplished.
With our exclusive STRIDE toe-flex technology, the nylon sole is composed of TPU injected into the area of the forefoot to leave freedom of movement when the foot to the ground, and providing a 6.0 rigidity index when pedaling.
For a greater traction of the shoe either in dry and wet or gravel and mud, we have covered the sole with the Slipnot compound. In addition, we have raised the shoe heel for a more natural sensation when walking.
- The Body Geometry technology allows you to give maximum power, increase efficiency and reduce the risk of injury by aligning the hip, knee and foot axis.
- The STRIDE toe-flex technology gives a freedom of movement to the foot while walking and maintains stiffness when pedaling. Indices of stiffness: 6.0
- Rubber SlipNotTM sole for greater traction on all grounds.
- Three Velcro closures that make the foot easily into the slipper and give you perfect comfort and fit to pedal all day for trails, roads or when you have to walk.
- Two screws coves to adjust to most mountain pedals.
