AERODINAMICA AND LIGEREZA

The aim of developing the new Aerolight was clear, to get a picture of aerodynamic lines keeping a low weight and a high level of stiffness, the fundamental pillars of a racing bike. The carbon laminate has been optimized to the maximum, studying the thickness of each point to achieve the best possible relationship between weight and stiffness. In addition, using the HCIM construction technique (Hollow Core Internal Molding) you get a picture without imperfections inside and with the best compacted possible. Less material means less weight, but no less performance. The result is a box of aero lines of only 950 grams.

AIR BOW FORK

The striking shape of the fork of the BH Aerolight is part of the Air Bow concept, which has made it possible to improve the overall aerodynamic of the bike and also applies to the rear straps. The internal space between the wheel and the fork has increased to the maximum with the aim of making the air flow between these two parts. The result on the road? The new BH Aerolight has decreased by 15.9% the dredging (the strength that the bike suffers as it moves through the air). That translates into a 5W savings at high speeds.
In addition, curved design helps to dispel vibrations caused by asphalt, for greater control and comfort without affecting performance.

KAMM TAIL

The lines of your painting and your tubes adopt the Kamm Tail forms already used in the past and which now apply to all possible places of the bicycle. This is to provide each tube with a cut drop-shaped section in its final part, the best solution to achieve maximum aerodynamic effectiveness.

TOTAL INTEGRATION

The new steering and handlebar set is fully integrated by forming a block of lines continue with the steering pipe, which together with the fully internal wiring, contributes to aerodynamics and aesthetics. This line of integration is also reflected in the sillin tile and its integrated closure, which provides stiffness and improves the aerodynamic aspect. No details are missing such as the closure of the wheels with the handle completely hidden and that no tools are required

QUICK LEVERS OF FÁCIL USE

All road pictures BH incorporate the 12mm Thru Axle closures that have the peculiarity of being "Quick Lever" easily used and completely hidden. No tool is needed for manipulation.

UPGRADE KITS

The Aerolight universe is complete with a range of accessories that are perfectly matched to the shapes of the picture and that maintain the aerodynamics of the same. A hydration system consisting of drum and specific drum holder has been designed, which benefits the air flow of the bicycle, and is complemented by the Aerolight Toolbox toolbox. In addition, given the importance of road safety, a rear position light has been developed integrated into the saddle tile.
