CHARACTERISTICS

  • AERO IN ALL: We put the aerodynamics where it matters, on the edge of attack, not only where it fits well. In the process we created our most aerodynamic road bike. Yeah, it's more aerodynamic than the Venge. Clean air is optimized to get the ultimate advantage with the new front cone of the Tarmac: the Speed Sniffer. When moving the steering tube back - the tube that determines the width of the steering tube - the attack edge of the steering tube can be much sharper, offering a much lower form of aerodynamic resistance. Using the new ICU standards, the Tarmac SL8 has the narrowest and most aerodynamic sillion tile we have ever made, which ensures that the dirty air that circulates quickly around the legs can flow more cleanly. The proven geometry of the Tarmac and 32 mm free space are identical to those of the SL7, which ensures easy adaptation and versatility of mounting higher volume covers when necessary.
