We put the aerodynamics where it matters, on the edge of attack, not only where it looks good. In the process we created our most aerodynamic road bike. Yeah, it's more aerodynamic than the Venge. Clean air is optimized to get the ultimate advantage with the new front cone of the Tarmac: the Speed Sniffer. When moving the steering tube back - the tube that determines the width of the steering tube - the attack edge of the steering tube can be much sharper, offering a much lower form of aerodynamic resistance. Using the new ICU standards, the Tarmac SL8 has the narrowest and most aerodynamic sillion tile we have ever made, which ensures that the dirty air that circulates quickly around the legs can flow more cleanly. Doesn't victory smell sweet?

MÍNIMO PESO, AERO MÁXIMO

the Tarmac SL8 has learned from the Aethos to be manufactured with the minimum UCI and with a complete aero configuration. The team has created a hallucinating picture of 685 grams, 15% lighter than the Tarmac SL7 and any other bike of the World Tour*. With the ability to make lightness an absolute priority in the diagonal tube, the seat tube and the back of the bicycle, the Aethos lessons were applied. The shape of the frame conveys the load so efficiently that the additional layers of carbon stiffness are redundant. * Unless, of course, you count on the time Kasper Asgreen ran with our 585 gram Aethos box during a Tour stage.

VA LIKE THE SAME HELL, RUSSIAN LIKE THE PARADISE

With huge gains in stiffness-weight - an improvement of 33% on the SL7 - the Tarmac SL8 carries the legendary handling, aggressive response and geometry tested in the World Championship to the next level. The bike is stiffer on the pedals, more precise on the handlebar, and combines it with a pleasant driving on the seat that sets a new reference point for the comfort of racing bikes. Thanks to our Rider-First engineering, all cyclists, regardless of their size, get the same quality of unprecedented driving and handling. In the saddle, the Tarmac SL8 offers 6% more elasticity, floating on the road in poor condition with a unique sense of flexibility in the world of racing bikes. The proven geometry of the Tarmac and the 32 mm free space are identical to those of the SL7, which ensures easy adaptation and versatility to mount larger tyres when necessary.

There may be more difference between two male cyclists than between a man and a woman. Gender alone does not provide enough data to specialize and that means creating male or female bikes is arbitrary and outdated.
