COUNTRY GUIDE
There are some simple rules to follow by washing your Endura garments, to ensure a long life of these garments and that they are well clean without damaging their technical properties.
- After use, do not leave the sweaty and rolled garment, as this encourages the presence of bacteria and mold, detachment of the membrane and discoloration.
- Always follow the label wash instructions.
- All garments that can be machine washed must do so at 30orC. For full instructions on washing care, see the care label.
- Always wash the garments of dark colors separately.
- Do not use softeners, as these can damage the adhesion of the seams of waterproof fabrics and DWR coatings (Durable Water Repellency).
- Don't dry. Instead, dry by drip naturally, but avoid direct and strong sunlight.
- Do not wash dry.
To reactivate the DWR (Repelence to durable water) in waterproof garments, use a cold iron setting, if permitted on the care label. The garments can also be reconditioned with waterproof agents such as Nikwax or Grangers. Always follow the application instructions. The garment must be clean and dry before starting this process. Be sure to avoid areas that are not made of fabric (e.g. buttons and zippers) and stay away to avoid inhaling chemicals. Also note that these products can be flammable.
