The new Cockpit Rapide is much more than the fastest way to reach the goal. It is the fastest handlebar we have made, putting aerodynamic gains on the components facing the clean air, where they matter most, and reducing four watts to the already ultra-fast combination of handlebars and two-piece Rapide power in a Tarmac SL7. But to offer an improvement that provides a winning advantage is needed more than pure aerodynamics. The goal for Roval's engineering team was simple: the Cockpit Rapide had to be the fastest handlebar we've made, without compromise. AERODINÁMICO

The removal of the tornillery and the lid that connects power and handlebars has created one of the most important profiles of the bike and can be designed as a single aerodynamic profile. We have optimized this aerodynamic profile to provide the maximum advantage in clean air at speeds ranging from long solo getaways to the World Tour's full speed sprints. Although an improvement of four watts may seem small, adds 32 cm* of advantage in a final sprint of 250 meters. When the races are won by the launch of the bike on the finish line, this is a winning difference.

LIGERO AND RÍGIDO

When removing the power cap and screws, the Cockpit Rapide is 50 grams lighter (measurably 100mm x 420mm) than a combination of two-piece fast handlebar and power. Manufactured with premium high module carbon fiber, which provides an ideal stiffness for the most voluminous and rapid velocists of the World Tour, the Cockpit Rapide has the highest rigidity-weight ratio than any handlebar and power system in two parts that we have manufactured so far.

AJUSTE

The adjustment has long been the disadvantage of the integrated handlebars, but we partner with our Retül Fit professionals and the best cyclists in the world to ensure that almost all cyclists can find their ideal position. We offer 15 different power and handlebar combinations, all with a power angle of -6 degrees, so we have covered the position you need on the day of the race. The distance between the top and the bottom has been designed to leave free space for the wrists, whether you are sprinting at the end of a race or if you are pedalling in the most aerodynamic position, while the curve and opening are identical to those of our favorite Rapide handlebars.
